How we started cleaning buildings in Colorado.
Jay and Nicole Hanna co-founded DRONEWASH+ in Denver. Jay came to cleaning from aerial photography, and the job that introduced us to Denver was the old airport tower at Stapleton.

BEFORE THE CLEANING
It started with aerial photography.
Before DRONEWASH+, Jay Hanna launched Jeeves Drones, a drone company doing aerial photography, imaging and mapping.
The cleaning idea started at FlyteCo, in the old Stapleton airport tower. Over dinner there, Jay joked about washing the tower with a drone. A friend put him in touch with the tower's co-owner, and the joke became a job.
We built DRONEWASH+ in Denver with drone technology as the foundation of the business.
LEARNING THE METHOD
Learned in Florida, brought home to Colorado.
Jay learned drone cleaning from a drone cleaning company in Florida, testing the method on buildings there.
Our drone jobs still run on that method: a site assessment, a marked safety zone, a tethered hose carrying water and cleaning solution up from our rig, and a final rinse of purified water that dries spot-free.
THE TOWER
The job that introduced us to Denver.
The old airport tower at Stapleton, now FlyteCo Tower, was our job in March 2024, and the one the press came out to watch.
Then we invited Denver facility managers and property owners to a free demonstration at the tower, to watch the method from the ground.
Since then our flight log has grown across Colorado, to a stadium, a performing arts complex and a hospital.
Our company was designed from the ground up around drone cleaning.
Drones do the height. For the rest we bring proven ground equipment: water-fed poles, lifts and traditional access when a job calls for them.

Today we are DRONEWASH+, working from our office at 1635 W 13th Ave, Denver, CO 80204.
Every case study we have published is a Colorado building, and we are expanding nationwide.
